News: Fishermen’s Village to host first annual German American Oktoberfest

Fishermen’s Village is proud to announce a new, signature event “German-American Oktoberfest” to be held Saturday, October 3, 2026.  The event kicks off at 12 noon and live music continues on the main stage on beach until 8 pm!

Fishermen’s Village German-American Oktoberfest will feature authentic German musicians, German food truck vendors, and fun, family friendly activities.  Village restaurants and participating merchants will feature special German fare specialties and brews!

Highlights of the event include:

• The Schnitzels Food Truck – Brats, Bavarian potato salad, schnitzel, kaesespaetzle

• Pierogi R’ Us Food Truck – Pierogis, Stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes

• Bayside Balsamic –  sample their Black Cherry aged dark balsamic Vinegar of Modena

• Simply Sweet – will be featuring special German Chocolate Fudge in addition to Haribo Gummy Bears

• Grammie’s Cakes – Homemade Apple Oatmeal and pumpkin loaf cakes!

• Barefoot Beauty Fairy Hair – 12 noon-6 pm (nominal fee)

• Clique Photo Booth – 12 noon-6 pm (nominal fee)

• Jesse Ink’d Tattoos – 12 noon-6 pm (nominal fee)

German-American live music line up to include:

• German Musician Werner Smolka – 12 noon-4 pm, Center Court – accordian and key board

• German American Verein Hafenkapelle Inc. – 12 noon-3 pm, main stage on beach. 
  20-piece traditional costumed German festival band from Cape Coral, FL

• Coyote Moonshine Band – 1-5 pm, third section of Village near Islands PG Restaurant
  Ameri-country-folk-bluegrass

• Deb and The Dynamics Band – 5-8 pm, main stage on beach- classic R&B, soul, rock, blue
  and 70’s dance music

Admission and parking for Oktoberfest is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
