A Legacy Comes Home

Maritimo M50 makes its North American debut.

Maritimo unveiled the all-new Maritimo M50 to the North American market at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. With the introduction of this model, Maritimo signals a decisive return to this highly desirable size range that it has dominated for more than 20 years, bringing with it the design intelligence, engineering refinement, and luxury execution learned from the brand’s highly successful larger models.

“The M50 is an incredibly important model for Maritimo,” says Keith Teynor, Managing Director of the Americas for Maritimo. “Fifty feet is a true sweet spot for owner-operators, and the M50 has been designed to resonate with buyers across the entire U.S. — from the Pacific Northwest and the Great Lakes to the East Coast and beyond. It delivers the offshore capability, comfort, and versatility needed for a wide range of cruising styles and conditions.”

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13-800 inline six engines on straight shafts, the M50 cruises effortlessly at 24 knots, with a top speed of approximately 30 knots. A substantial 980-gallon fuel capacity delivers impressive range and efficiency.

Leveraging decades of offshore racing experience, Maritimo’s hull design delivers lift, stability, and comfort across a wide range of conditions. A reverse chine runs nearly the length of the hull, while a carefully shaped keel ensures soft re-entry and confidence in challenging seas.

Inside, the M50 delivers a truly class-leading full-beam master stateroom, rivaling those found aboard significantly larger yachts. A single-level sole, two large hanging wardrobes, and an impressively sized ensuite head create a refined, private retreat ideally suited for extended cruising. In a thoughtful departure from conventional layouts, Maritimo repositioned the VIP berth to allow for a generously proportioned forward head, which also serves as the day head for guests, as well as overhead storage and a versatile double berth that converts into two singles.

Stepping aboard, guests are greeted with an abundance of volume and luxury. The cockpit aboard the M50 is an entertainer’s dream, offering a superb alfresco dining environment that flows seamlessly into the galley and saloon. This open-plan arrangement creates a visually clean, cohesive space ideally suited for socializing. The innovative rear swim platform raises and folds to reduce the vessel’s length when docked, and then when deployed, transforms into a spacious entertainment area ideal for all water-based activities no matter where you cruise.

Twin helm seats provide exceptional comfort, while the expertly designed helm reflects Maritimo’s offshore racing heritage, with perfectly aligned instrumentation and seamlessly integrated controls. Opposite the helm, a large settee lounge allows guests to share the journey underway or relax at anchor.

Rather than an afterthought, the enclosed bridge is core to the brand’s identity and offshore cruising pedigree. Natural light and fresh air flood the space through an overhead skylight, complemented by forward and aft opening hatches in the hardtop. This delivers an open-bridge feel when conditions allow. With its combination of offshore capability, refined luxury, and intelligent design, the M50 redefines expectations in the 50-foot motor yacht segment.
